Business Definition

The ACTUAL_GRADE column represents the overall grade of a student in a course, including the impact of overdue activities which are counted as zeroes. This grade is used to track and report on student progress and performance throughout the course. It maps directly to the 'actualGrade' field in the EnrollmentProgressEvent, which records updates to course grades or progress. Note that this grade is expressed as a percentage to the tenths place and includes penalties for overdue work.
